While driving as a senior can provide independence, mobility, and a more flexible way to be connected to our community and loved ones, there are risks that come with age. The changes that happen through the course of life such as changes to hearing, vision, and reaction time can all be factors to take into consideration for driving seniors. These physical and cognitive changes can make driving difficult for seniors, or even dangerous, which often leads to having to give up driving all together. This may not be an easy transition for some. Here are some things to keep in mind about your senior driver.

Boyd's Tire would like to thank all our customers for supporting our Autism Speaks Event for the Make it Fit Foundation. This organization supports various local Autism charities and events. Boyd's Tire was able to raise and donate $1667.00 in the month of April to help their efforts. Donations are put toward making a difference in children's lives through Autism education & services.

A few weeks ago, we held a customer appreciation event where we pledged a portion of our daily sales, to research and treatment of Parkinson disease.

Excitement was in the air the other day at our Eastpointe Central Ohio location in Blacklick. Our company was finally able to present the ALS Foundation of Ohio, with money raised at our annual Customer Appreciation Sales Event back in September.
