Excitement was in the air the other day at our Eastpointe Boyd’s Tire & Service location in Blacklick. Our company was finally able to present the ALS Foundation of Ohio, with money raised at our annual Customer Appreciation Sales Event back in September.
It was an easy call deciding which charity to donate a portion of our sales to because someone very special to our company, and especially this location was diagnosed with ALS late last year. Bill Lewis is one of the original 6 employees of our company, he is a dear family friend and up until his retirement last year he had been with our company for over 20 years. We are thankful we were able to donate and could do so due to the ample support we received during our Customer Appreciation event. Thank you to the ALS Association of Central & Southern Ohio for allowing us to partner with them. We hope to be able to partner with them in the future. Also, thank you Ted Cooke and his staff for putting on a great event and to the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company for allowing us to have some exceptional specials on their products for the day.
This is a tragic disease and we are currently short on ways to cure it. Please donate to your local ALS chapter whenever you can, every donation is valuable and helps to get us one step further to a cure.
